Maggie Scull

Maggie was born and raised in St. Catharines.  After moving away for school and working as a lawyer in Oakville, Maggie has decided to move back home and take advantage of everything Niagara has to offer.

Maggie completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph, her Master’s degree at the University of Western Ontario and her J.D. at the University of Ottawa.  She was called to the bar in 2015.

Maggie articled at O’Connor MacLeod Hanna LLP, Halton’s largest law firm, and practiced as a civil litigator.

Maggie has appeared before the Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.  Additionally she has appeared before various tribunals such as the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Employment Standards Office.

After gaining invaluable experience in a diverse civil litigation practice, Maggie has expanded into family law and is excited to take on this new challenge.  Maggie`s skills, experience and fierce advocacy have transitioned well to appearances in the family courts.

While always ready to provide her opinion, Maggie believes that the litigation process should be driven by the wants and needs of the client.  Maggie aims to provide the guidance and knowledge necessary to empower her clients to make well-informed decisions and achieve a positive outcome.

Maggie is taking on general civil litigation files and family law files.  Maggie will be accepting legal aid for family law.

In her “down” time Maggie spends time with her family.  Her two young children always find a way to keep her busy.
